Growing in Unity 2020 - Day 2 - Clean and Simple

My next card is my verison of a clean and simple card using two different stamp sets.  It is very hard for me to do clean and simple cards but here I go....

The floral is from the Unity Another Name for Love set and the sentiment is from the Unity July 2020 Uniquely Unity kit You Grow Girl.

I started by die cutting the gray cardstock using Gina Marie Double Rope rectangle die and the yellow cardstock using Kat Scrappiness Stitiched Scalloped rectangle die.  These dies add visual interest while allowing the stamp image to remain the focal image.

I stamped the Unity floral image (Another Name from Love) using vermark ink and embossed with Ranger gold embossing powder for the gray cardstock and WOW white embossing powder for the yellow cardstock.

To add more depth and to make the embossing pop, I pulled out my distressed inks and a blender brush to add a little color to card front.

Now to add the sentiment, vellum will give a soft look (backed with white cardstock).  I heat embossed the sentiment "We don't GROW when things are easy." from the Uniquely Unity July 2020 kit (You Grow Girl).  To finish up, I added small rhinestones for a bit of shine because who doesn't love a bit of sparkle.

Hope you visit back tomorrow for another project.
Don't forget to leave a comment on each GIU post for a chance to win a Unity grab bag of stamps.
Happy Crafting!
